Give us what you have.
We’ll give you one portfolio view.
Yardi in the morning. Excel at lunch. PDFs from three property managers at month-end. RE Analytics turns all of it into one standardized, continuously maintained view of your portfolio.
We’re not another AI platform.
That’s the point.
Plenty of owners are wary of handing their portfolio to an algorithm, and wary of where their data goes. RE Analytics is the safe choice: a proven method, run by real estate people.
No black box
Every number is built in linked Excel models you can open and follow. You can see how every number was built.
Your data stays yours
You own all data, models, and documentation, with 24/7 access and the right to export everything.
Run by real estate people
A dedicated analyst, a Relationship Manager, and a founder who spent his career on the owner’s side of the table.
Built for the mid-market
Enterprise data platforms are built and priced for the biggest firms. If you run 5 to 50 assets with a lean team, our per-asset model fits you.
One portfolio. Four questions in a week.
Picture a CFO at a 15-asset operator. Here is how a normal week goes when the answers are already sitting in one place. (Illustrative scenario, sample data.)
Result
One view of covenant status across every loan, already current. The answer takes a minute, not an afternoon.
How RE Analytics does it
Lenders, balances, terms, and covenant tests are centralized and calculated the same way for every asset, then refreshed every month.
Result
Actual and projected results sit right next to original underwriting, asset by asset. No one rebuilds a deck the night before.
How RE Analytics does it
Linked Excel models track actuals against budget and underwriting. The Performance & Returns module surfaces the variance and what drove it.
Result
Lease expirations by period, with rollover exposure by asset. You see where risk concentrates before it shows up in cash flow.
How RE Analytics does it
Lease data from every property manager is standardized into one schedule, so the Operations & Leasing module can roll it up across the portfolio.
Result
Nothing walks out the door with them. Your data, models, and history stay in your portfolio database.
How RE Analytics does it
Standardized lease, expense, capital, tax, and insurance data is maintained by a dedicated analyst, so a change in staff or property manager does not reset the clock.
The data exists.
The visibility doesn’t.
Your team knows the portfolio better than anyone. They just don’t have time to assemble it.
Every asset reports differently, through different managers, in different systems, with different charts of accounts. So a simple question like “how are we doing?” turns into a project.
Meanwhile, the knowledge that holds it together lives in a few people’s heads. When one of them leaves, the map leaves too.
A data team that’s always on.
We take on the heavy lifting of building and maintaining your portfolio infrastructure. You get the answers.
Collects what you have
Property management reports, accounting exports, lease and loan documents, PDFs. About 10 core source documents per asset at onboarding.
Abstracts and structures
Pulls the numbers out of documents and loads them into a structured portfolio database: your single source of truth.
Standardizes everything
Maps every manager’s format and every chart of accounts into one consistent framework, so assets finally compare apples to apples.
Builds linked models
Property-level Excel models track actuals, budget, and underwriting, and feed everything above them.
Publishes dashboards
Power BI dashboards at the portfolio level, with 24/7 access to all data, models, and documents. You own everything.
Keeps it current
A dedicated analyst updates it monthly, with a Relationship Manager-led review cadence focused on integrity and continuity.
Built from your portfolio, not a template.
Start with the Base Platform, then add modules where your assets need deeper visibility.
Your assets
Every property, entity, lender, and lease, organized in one structured database with the same definitions across the portfolio.
Your systems
Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, Buildium, Excel, and PDFs stay exactly as they are. We sit above them and make them usable.
Your people
Institutional knowledge moves out of individual heads and into a system that doesn’t depend on any one employee.
A continuously maintained view of near-term liquidity, intercompany exposure, debt obligations, and compliance risk across the portfolio.
A continuously maintained view of operating performance, cash flow behavior, and returns, measured consistently against underwriting.
A continuously maintained view of leasing exposure, revenue stability, operating costs, and property-level obligations.
Reports arrive
Your latest statements and documents, in whatever form you have them.
Analyst updates
Data is abstracted and your models are refreshed.
Dashboards refresh
Portfolio and property views update everywhere at once.
Review cadence
A Relationship Manager keeps data integrity and continuity on track.
Owners don’t buy AI.
They buy answers.
Faster answers, cleaner investor reporting, and fewer surprises. Here is what changes in your first 30 to 60 days.
Faster answers
A portfolio question stops being a multi-day project. One consistent view across every asset, manager, and system gets you the answer in minutes.
Cleaner investor reporting
One standardized set of numbers across every asset, so every report starts from the same source of truth.
Fewer surprises
Debt maturities, lease expirations, taxes, and covenants are visible before they arrive, not after.
We build the foundation
We collect your documents, abstract the data, standardize it, and build your portfolio database and models.
You see it live
Dashboards go live. Every asset is in one view, and portfolio questions start getting answered in minutes.
It stays current
Your analyst updates everything monthly, and a Relationship Manager keeps the review cadence on track.
Timing varies with portfolio size and how ready your documents are.
From “how are we doing?” as a project, to an answer.

“What gets measured, gets managed.”
“RE Analytics does the measuring, you do the managing.”
“The most valuable commodity I know of is information.”
“There is valuable information that is not tracked in traditional property management software platforms. We capture that information, manage it and make it accessible to you.”
“The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency. The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency.”
“Think about the efficiency of your asset management process when you are evaluating a solution. Software alone will not make you efficient.”
“If you want something done, ask a busy person.”
“If you want back office work done, ask RE Analytics.”
He’s been there. He understands.
RE Analytics was built by someone who sat on the owner’s side of the table.
George Burchlaw
George Burchlaw has never worked at a software company, but he understands the efficiencies technology can bring to real estate investment professionals. After working in civil engineering and building forensic analysis, he earned an MBA from The University of Texas in 2000.
Through nearly twenty years in the real estate industry since, he kept seeing the same challenge: investment companies struggled to track information and evaluate their portfolios. He launched RE Analytics to solve it.

What is RE Analytics?
RE Analytics provides outsourced data infrastructure and portfolio intelligence for real estate investment firms. We take fragmented property, financial, and operational information and turn it into a consistent portfolio-wide view, without requiring you to build and maintain the infrastructure internally.
Is RE Analytics an AI platform?
Not in the way most platforms are. RE Analytics is people plus technology, run by real estate professionals. We are not asking you to hand your portfolio to an algorithm: every number is built in linked Excel models you can open and follow, your data stays yours, and you can export it any time.
Is this software, consulting, or a new hire?
None of those. It’s people plus technology, delivered as an ongoing service: a dedicated analyst, a Relationship Manager, linked Excel models, and Power BI dashboards, all continuously maintained for you.
Do I need to clean up my data first?
No. Give us what you have: Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, Buildium, Excel files, PDFs, financial statements, lease information, debt documents, insurance, taxes, and underwriting. We handle the heavy lifting.
Who owns the data and models?
You do. You own all data, models, and documentation, with 24/7 access to the platform, database, and files. You can export everything at any time, with no restrictions.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. There are no long-term contracts and no penalties for canceling. We earn your business every month.
What’s the minimum engagement?
The Base Platform requires a minimum of 5 assets. Pricing is $500 per asset per month plus a one-time onboarding fee of $750 per asset. Modules are optional add-ons.
Do you give investment advice?
No. RE Analytics provides infrastructure and visibility only. We don’t provide interpretations, opinions, recommendations, leasing strategy, or buy/sell guidance. Your team stays the decision-maker.
How is this different from hiring an analyst?
A full-time analyst costs $120,000+ a year in salary, benefits, and overhead, and knowledge leaves when they do. RE Analytics gives you dedicated resources and institutional continuity with no single point of failure. It also lets the analysts you already have spend time analyzing, not assembling spreadsheets.
Who is behind RE Analytics?
RE Analytics was founded by George Burchlaw, who has nearly twenty years in real estate on the owner’s side of the table, including ten years at Forest City Enterprises and roughly $250 million of mixed-use development overseen. He launched RE Analytics after repeatedly seeing investment companies struggle to track information and evaluate their portfolios.
